UTTA Privacy Policy

1. Overview

UTTA is a training companion app for athletes preparing an ultra-trail race. UTTA is designed to operate 100% offline: it does not require an account, it does not synchronize anything to the cloud, and it does not transmit any data over the network. This Privacy Policy describes how UTTA handles the information you provide to and generate within the app.

2. Data we collect

We do not collect any data on our servers. UTTA does not operate any backend infrastructure that receives your data. The following information is created and stored only on your device:

• Athlete profile: your experience level, injury history and previous personal records (distance, elevation gain).
• Target race and intermediate races: name, distance, elevation, date.
• Training plan: macro-plan phases (Base, Build, Specific, Taper), weekly volume and prescribed sessions generated from your profile and availability.
• Workout sessions: duration, distance, positive and negative elevation, instantaneous and average pace, GPS track, heart rate, cadence, heart-rate zone distribution and adherence to the prescribed session.
• General physical preparation (PPG) tracking: intervals or repetitions completed, optional heart-rate data.
• Aggregated statistics: training load, estimated RPE, trends over time, chronological history of your sessions.

3. Permissions used by the app

To deliver its features, UTTA may request the following operating-system permissions. None of these are used to transmit data off your device.

• Location (GPS): used to measure distance, pace, and positive/negative elevation during your runs. Location data stays on your device.
• Bluetooth: used to connect to BLE heart-rate sensors (chest straps, watches) and BLE cadence sensors. Sensor readings stay on your device.
• Motion and physical activity: may be requested by the operating system to support background tracking of activity sessions.

4. Local storage and your control

All data described above is stored locally on your device, in the private storage area allocated by the operating system to UTTA. No automatic backup, no cloud copy, no third-party storage.

You can delete all of your UTTA data at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling UTTA permanently removes your profile, plan and session history from the device.

5. No third parties, no tracking

UTTA does not embed third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services, or any other component that transmits data to a remote server. There is no in-app advertising. There is no profiling.

6. Children

UTTA is intended for serious trail runners preparing an ultra-distance race. The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age). We do not knowingly process information from such children. Because UTTA does not transmit data, no personal information is ever shared with us by anyone.

7. Changes to this policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL and reflected in future versions of the app. Material changes will be reflected in the app store listing.
